Why can't I find a contact through search?

We are using Outlook 2003. I'm referring to the "Find a Contact" button in
the standard toolbar. We have Outlook set up to look in the Contact folder
first and then in the address book.

Why can't I find a contact through search?

We're using Outlook 2003 and I'm referring to the "Find a Contact" box in the
standard toolbar. We have set up Outlook so it should look in Contacts first
before it looks in the address...

We can find a contact when we search by name, but why can't we find them when
we search by company?
