Stephan, I have had my "firstname.lastname@domain" for years now. There is NO
PROBLEM with Outlook 2007 handling this. Something else is the problem.

Actually you can't unless you are approaching your computer using remote
access technology/software. The only other option is to close down your
Outlook, then use web-mail if possible, such as...
