I couldn't open it so obtained access to a computer with Outlook 2003 and
it's now in the contacts folder of that computer so I'm ready to start over.
What's next?

I'm having a similar problem but I have already copied the contacts from
Outlook 2003 onto a CD (no longer have access to the computer that was used)
and my Outlook 2002 isn't recognizing the file...

I believe export was used but don't remember for sure. I no longer have
access to the other computer. I just have the pst file on a CD which I've
also loaded onto my desktop.

I copied the Contacts folder from a computer that had Outlook 2002 on a CD as
a pst file. I am now trying to import that file into the Contacts folder of a
computer that is running Outlook 2003. ...

I copied my contact list from a computer that had Outlook 2003 and am trying
to copy it onto a computer with Outlook 2002. It won't open the file.
Apparently it's stored in a different language....
