configure MAPI mail account

Outlook 2003
Windows XP Pro

I deleted my MAPI e-mail account and and now I want it restored. I forgot
the coding typed input for the:
Server Information Incoming mail server (IMAP) ...

Sent E-mails not leaving "Outbox"

My outgoing server tab was checked. I have now switched to "IMAP". I would
be interested in your thoughts on the pros and cons of continuing with
"IMAP". My Outlook system has been working fine...

to work with no success. I could not send e-mails from outlook as previously...

Configuration not working

I followed your instructions Hal and then tried sending an E-mail out of
Outlook.
It did not get sent and took over an hour to show up in "Out Box". It is
still hung up there and I am still...

How can I see more messages?

I wish to look further back (older dates) than the few days of messages one
is allowed to see. I don't see anything to click on to do this. Is there a
way?
