Thx Jocelyn, just a typo - 5 is close to 6. Your answer got me going - I had
set it with the previous version once upon a time but couldn't remember how
and didn't find it in help. I still don't...

When I migrated to Office 2007, most of my settings migrated but the setting
for default appointment/meeting duration did not. All of my appointments in
Outlook 2007 start with a duration of 30min...
