I didn't designate the old folder as anything. My assumption is that it is
the orginal "Contacts" folder that was created when I installed Outlook. The

Thanks, Russ,

The file is enabled. What I had to do was un-enable the other folder (the
original empty folder), and that worked to get the email to be able to find
the addresses. I closed Outlook...

However, I have not been able to link the old address .PST using the
ToolsAccountsAddres.... This happens whether I
select Add a new directory OR View or change existing...
