Using CDO from Access VBA.

The message will simply dissapear without a trace if DSN is turned on.

The message works perfectly without it.

the method used to activate notification is as follows....

Thanks for your reply Sue,

I kind of figured that there was no built in control available. Have not
looked at 2007 yet, but soon, if I can find the time.

They also need to adjust the notice time...

In a contact template form, a custom date field with a calendar control is
required.
