Chaz,

I've had this problem, too. It seems to happen only with the IMAP server
that ships with Red Hat 8 and 9 (not tried other releases). I don't have
this problem with the Cyrus IMAP...

I get this from time to time and my IMAP server is not more than about 4
feet from my desktop machine on the same LAN. I don't know why the
connection breaks, but as an end user, I don't care that...
