I'm not sure what I should look for in the headers - from header is
just the senders email address, and there is no replyto header.,

These are all text emails. I get emails from the same...

Thanks, but I already have several identities and it happens with all
of them. But just to be sure I created a brand new one, opened one of
the messages that cause the crash, clicked on "reply" and...

OE crashes when replying to certain messages

Hello

My outlook express crashes every day when I click on "Reply" for
certain messages - this affects only a tiny number of messages, mostly
from the same sender, and they always have attachments....
