I have figured out how to hyperlink (html) to an item in my contact
list:

outlook:Contacts/~John Doe

This works great.

Now I would like to be able to issue a command to open a specific
contact...

I have attempted to enter both the date and time in the DUE DATE field
but I get the following error:

"You must specify a valid date and/or time. Check your entries in this
dialog box to make sure...
