Recover Outlook 2007 if .pst file is missing (Vista) ?

Hi,

I had a failed hard drive (corrupted boot sector) on my Vista machine
running Outlook 2007.

I am able to see/recover most of the data from the disk. However, I cannot

There is no "end user error".
I had Office XP. I had Contacts. I put in the Office 2007 disc, clicked Yes
to Install. Opened Outlook 2007... No Contacts.

Hi Roady, and thanks.

The installation seems to have removed my pst file completely. There is a
new blank one generated now, but no old outlook.pst anywhere on my PC.

The Google desktop is not being installed. The message will go away once I
uninstall the Outlook Add-Ins.

This only happens when I exit and reopen the Outlook right away. The Outlook
Add Ins works properly.
