How can I customize a recurring meeting?

I am coming from Lotus Notes, where you can customize your meetings, i.e.,
NOT the 3rd Wed. of every month but 10/17/2007, 12/11/2007, 1/5/2007, etc.
Can someone let me know if this is possible or...
