Hal, Thanks for the suggestion. I unistalled Norton, restarted and tried
sending email but got the same error message. My Vista laptop is a Sony Viao
VGN SZ58GN whereas my XP laptop is a Dell...

I have a new Vista laptop and am trying to get POP3 email working in Outlook
2007. I can receive email messages but I get the following error when I try
to send - "None of the authentication...
