Cant remove recurring appointment

Hi Brian, It hasn't worked. When Outlook opens, after a moment or two the
reminder window opens with the same culprit. I can't open it, delete it and
the time chooses whenever? Hope you can help....

/cleanreminders and it seemed to run and then outlook opened. After waiting

I have an old appointment that continually shows up in my reminders window.
The error message is "Unable to open or delete appointment as the recurrence
cannot be found"
