Is there any way to permanently keep a field (in this case, I want
"size") to ALWAYS appear when one does an advanced find from outlook?
I am constantly having to re-add that field through field...

No, I checked the following folders:
My deleted items, my tasks
The original creator's deleted items, and their tasks
The deleter's deleted items, and their tasks
They are no where!

Had a staff member delete about 10 items from a public tasks folder,
accidentally.
I went in, as owner of this folder, from my outlook client and chose
"Tools, Recover deleted items", and highlighted...

Calling all Microsoft MVP's! (contacts problem)

forget it we figured it out-- turns out some of our mac community was
clicking into some of these contacts using "enterage" which is a
quasi-outlook application and not completely compatible...

Apparently this "optimization" doedsn't apply to public calendars??

In outlook 2000 If I set an appointment in my own calendary (set to
show time as busy) 11 months into the future it will not show as bold.
