Thanks for your reply, Guess your right, this is an issue with limitied
configuration options on the Imap client (a Samsung F700 Phone).. There is no
option in the phone imap config to prevent...

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if there is a setting in outlook 2003 which
prevents outlook from marking mail as "read" after it has been downloaded
from exchange server to a Mobile Imap Client?

and the mail server is echange 2003 but i haven't got the administrator righ
