Hi Tim

Creating another identity worked! I created a new folder OldInbox.dbx in the
new identity and renamed the old Inbox the same and overwrote the new box
data with the old one....

Tried that - the inbox was there, I renamed it but a new inbox wasnt created
when I opened up OE again.

Switched on and OE started without an Inbox, and all its sub-folders. I
havent mistakenly deleted it, and I havent compressed, its just gone! The
