Compacting Folders Error

Yes, this error occurred for the first time after I installed XP-SP3. Your
procedure stopped the error message from re-occurring.

Compacting Folders Error

While compacting folders, OE gives me this error message: "The folder is
currently in use by Outlook Express or by another application." The file it
is trying to compact is the "Folders.dbx" file....

I don't have "Read messages in plain text" selected but I do use AVG email
scanning, and I'll bet the latter is the culprit. However, I guess I'll just
have to live with the Paper-clips, because I...

Paper-clip symbol in Inbox, but no attachment

Whenever I receive an HTML email in my Inbox it has the Paper-clip symbol in
the Inbox listing even if the HTML email has no attachment.
What could be causing this?
I am using WinXP SP2, Home...
