I figured out the problem. My older version of Outlook 2002 was not
completely uninstalled. I used Windows Install Clean Up to remove it and
reinstalled Office 2007. This fixed the problem. ...

No, the invitee is getting emails related to this invite but they only
contain the words "quit" or "reset and quit"

Outlook Today page flashes information then goes blank

I am running XP and recently upgraded to Office 2007. Now when I view my
Outlook Today page it flashes the Appointments and Tasks then goes blank.
Can someone help me?
