I have and tried both, the msnews.microsoft.com news server and got
the same results. Same with the first link you give here. In the second one

I use OE only for newsgroups. I use Outlook 2000 (on W2K+SP4)
for email & calendar. A similar solution for Outlook...

Where does OutlookExpress 6.0 saves all its user specific settings on W2K Pro?

I am using W2K+SP4.

For example, Outlook 2000 saves all my user specific setting and emails in:
C:\Documents and Settings\David\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet...
