why do email addresses not autocomplete when using outlook?

If I HAD Outlook 2000, and then upgraded to 2003, should the PST file
convert to 2003? Or does it stay as 2000 (i.e. max size 2GB) and thus I have
to create a new one...

We have Exchange 2003, and running the Outlook 2003 client. Our users have
