Daily "No socket Error": 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Several times each day OE goes 'stale' with the noted error. My solution is
to reboot, then it works fine for awhile. Is there a fix for this problem?

Extraordinarilly slow saving Newsgroup attachments

Friends - My Outlook Express is extraordinarilly slow saving Newsgroup
attachments, only recently, even small jpg's. Turned off Norton and other
secuity software, no improvement - - suggestions? -...
