Send invitations but not have them on my calendar

I often have to arrange meetings on behalf of other people where I will not
be attending personally. Is there a way to set these up without them showing
up on my calendar?

Error on messages with attachment

Thank you Bruce. In fact the answer was much simpler. My Sent Items folder
seems to have been 'full', and the 'error' was that a copy of my outgoing
message could not be stored in the Sent Items...
