Thank you. Could the origin of this problem have anything to do with the
fact that he syncs his calendar with his Blackberry? If so, how can I
correct it?

Thank you; I did look in the AutoArchive settings. It was set to the Default
Settings (deleting after six months), which is the reason I am confused as to
why this happened. It is the second time...

All of the items from my boss's calendar that were older that 60 days somehow
ended up in his "deleted items" folder. I checked his AutoArchive settings,
