Outlook Reminders dialog box very slow

When I open Outlook 2007 (this happened with outlook 2003 too before I
upgraded) the reminders dialog box appears. There are about 50
reminders but it takes a few seconds for each reminder to count...

I have created a custom form which has a couple of voting buttons. When
the form is sent it sets a flag for follow up. I would like to put
some code into the form so when they hit the voting buttons...
