Excel 2000 install "uninstalls" Outlook 2003

The second time I tried installed Excel 2000 I had the same train of thought
and when I was prompted for install location I deleted the "Microsoft
Office" part of c:/Programs/Microsoftoffice/ but...

it - just Outlook 2003 and Word 2002. OS is XP SP2. My Outlook is my

Simplest way to back-up 2003?

Thanks for your advice - essentially then, if my original .pst file (the
MAIN one)gets damaged or I make a fresh install of Outlook I can simply
REPLACE either the old (or the new one in the case...

Simplest way to back-up 2003?

I routinely keep a copy of my .pst file on an alternative storage medium...
IF I ever lost my Outlook data on the p.c. and had to reinstall - would it
be simply a case of placing my "back-up" copy...
