I have a Com Add-in programmed to load at start up.....
On some PC's it loads perfectly.... on another we cannot activate the add-in.... It seems that even if we try to activate the add-in by ticking it off in the COM add-ins.... After OK'ing all the way out.... Outlook just deactivates the addin. No difference in user authorization level. What will I look for... (the developer guy is equally frustrated) ![]() |

Look in Help, About, Disabled Items. Most likely Outlook is disabling the
addin because: 1. It's a shared application namespace managed code addin and it or another shared addin crashed Outlook. 2. Not all errors are being handled. 3. You used CreateObject or New and a script stopper crashed your app and that crashed Outlook. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Bente" wrote in message ...
