There are no COM addins for Outlook Express and this is an Outlook group,
not an Outlook Express one. The API's published for OE are mostly filled
with "not implemented" and are basically useless. About your only way is to
use a library from Nektra to program against. Google them and post any other
questions about OE development in an OE newsgroup.

That's kind of obvious when you look in the VB6 add-in applications menu.
What is the OE news group under?
I don't use Outlook because its rule structure is not as good as OE and
ironically OE lacks the ability to make rules that can screen message headers
so writing an add-in to do the job is essential. I would move to Outlook but
only if I could overcome its rule structure with add-ins. What do you suggest?

I don't use rules at all, I code the equivalent which is a lot more
flexible.

I can't help with OE questions, I'd Google for one of their newsgroups or
try to find one on the MS support Web site.
