If I am using the CurrentUser.Name property of an RDOSession object, does
this point back to a property in Exchange or Active Directory? If so, which one, and which admin tool would I use to modify it? (Sorry, a sysadmin I am not...) |

Exchange (as of version 2000) uses AD, so you need to modify the AD objects.

Thanks Dmitry. Any idea which objects RDOSession.CurrentUser.Name would
point to? Hi Dmitry,
Thanks Dmitry. Any idea which objects RDOSession.CurrentUser.Name would point to? I am not sure I understand. One of the AD user objects? I guess Mike wants to know which attribute of the user object is read to fill the Name property. Could be cn (common name), mailNickname (alias), name or even sSAMAccountName. @Mike You could set up a new user object and put distinct values in those attributes to see which one is returned. -- SvenC |
