Default Customize Outlook Native UI?

Hey All,

I was wondering if it is possible to add custom panes to the Outlook window.
For example, one can choose options to view the 'Folder List' or the
'Preview Pane'. Is it possible to add custom panes or would one have to /
be better off just implementing their own forms and tabs?

Default Customize Outlook Native UI?

Outlook version?

For Outlook 2007 you can use the Custom Task Pane object to add a task pane
to either an Inspector or Explorer window.

For earlier versions of Outlook you'd have to do something like this:
