Default Is there a way to get this sorted???

Hi All,

I haev a drop down list in the Standard toolbar of the appointment
form.
When an invalid selection is made a message box appears on the screen
informing user of the invalid selection.

and close the appointment foThe problem is when I make an invalid
selection rm before the message box appears, the message box appears
(after the form closes) but it is followed by an "unexpected error
occured in outlook" message box which prompts the user to restart
outlook and send an error report to Microsoft

How do I ensure the appointment form can't be closed prior to the
completion of the drop down index change event?

Thanx
