![]() I have downloaded sample formserver from microsoft and installed the custom form. The custom form is displyed properly in inspector window. But in readingpnae, it is showing a message as "This item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane. Open the item to read its contents." In the form, we have used only body and subject properties. Is this a problem? Or is there a way to show them in reading pane? I had seeon one article on this at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/288754 So is this not possible at all? Please confirm. -- madhavi http://forums.slipstick.com |

Why didn't you believe the article? It means what it says: Outlook does not
display custom forms in the reading pane. The only solution built into Outlook extensibility is to use a form region, but that's available only for Outlook 2007. In earlier versions, the Add-in Express developer tool provides a solution, presumably by working at the Windows API level. But neither of those solutions has anything directly to do with a custom form. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "madhavi" wrote: I have downloaded sample formserver from microsoft and installed the custom form.
