Default Cached Mode Calander Synchronization Issue

My company uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and configures our computers
with Outlook 2003 client in cached mode.

This works great for everything except new calendar entries when using
Outlook Web Access. When you create a new calendar entry using OWA, it does
not appear in our Outlook 2003 calendar after synchronization. However, if
you create a new calendar entry in Outlook 2003, it does appear in the OWA
calendar.

Synchronization both ways work fine for email and folders ... just not for
calendar entries ... thoughts?

They are normal appointments ... The private flag is not set ... Won't
disabiling cache mode interfere with possible data loss in Outlook 2003?

Also, I did notice that even though the OWA created appointements do not
show up in the Outlook 2003 calendar, the reminders/alarms for the
appointments do! So it would appear that the data is being synched ... but it
doesn't explain why the OWA calendar entries aren't visible in Outlook 2003.
