I use Outlook 2003 on this PC as a Calendar only. I have Outlook 2003
installed on a Laptop PC and I've already copied the data.pst file to the Laptop to have it have the same appointments, etc. as this one. I set Outlook on this PC to look a certain way, forgot how I did it, but I wanted to know if there is a file on this PC that has my Outlook setup that I can copy to the Laptop so it's Outlook will look the same? -- Thanks.....Bill Please reply to the Newsgroup ONLY |

Did you have it in no mail mode? When you configure your profile, choose the
option for no mail. Unfortunately, outlook doesn't have a way to move profiles and configurations to new machines - you can use the office save my settings wizard but if you are using addins on one machine and not the other, it causes error. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Willy" wrote in message ... Diane,
I did the Save My Settings Wizard and then used it on my laptop, all is there but it asks for a disk in my D: drive, CD-ROM. I can click Cancel 3 times then it goes away & all is okay. I even uninstalled then reinstalled Office 2003 using Custom Install but found "no mail mode" for Outlook. -- Thanks.....Bill Please reply to the Newsgroup ONLY "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ...
