Try starting this user's Outlook one time with the /cleanfreebusy switch.
start-run-outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy (note the space before the /) -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. After furious head scratching, Christine asked: | We're using Office 2003 SP2, Windows XP, Exchange Server 2003. When | creating a meeting request and I'm on the Scheduling tab, a large | block of time is shown as "free" for one of the attendees. I was | suspicious of the availability for this attendee, so I looked at his | shared calendar and found that he was not free at all. In fact, he | has an "out of office" meeting scheduled during the time that was | indicated as "free". Further investigation shows that this "out of | office" meeting was scheduled days ago and the free/busy info in | Outlook on his PC is set to publish for 12 months and update on the | server every 15 minutes. Is this a bug? What am I missing here? | Thank you! |
