How do I make an Outlook2003 appointment compatible with 2000?
When I send an appointment email from my Outlook 2003 to someone with Outlook
2000, it is not received as an appointment invitation. How do I fix this?

I think you might have to turn off the option to send the appointment as an
iCal/vCal item he Tools menu Options Calendar "3X" wrote in message ... When I send an appointment email from my Outlook 2003 to someone with Outlook 2000, it is not received as an appointment invitation. How do I fix this?

How do I make an Outlook2003 appointment compatible with 2000?
There is a known incompatiblity between Outlook 2000 and later versions related to reminders on meeting requests sent in iCalendar (aka iCal) format. To resolve this issue, do one of the following:
