We have Outlook 2002 SP3.
When we change the time or location to an existing meeting and click on Send Update - all recipients get a cancelation notice and then an Update meeting. This is causing great confusion and frustration for our users. Any ideas? |

Outlook 2003 SP2 handles updates much more gracefully. Microsoft has made some changes between versions to address problems like the one you described.

Sue,
I'm not sure that your answer is a solution. Unfortunately, due to company standards we can't all have access to Outlook 2003. I too am encountering this problem. When I update an Outlook meeting I need to update the attendees' calendars without sending a cancellation and update notice. |

Thanks Sue, however I would have to agree with cjturner in that we are not
planning on changing to Outlook 2003 just yet, so this is not quite an answer to my problem. However, I seem to have fixed this problem (for the time being) by resetting our Outlook settings. Thank you for your time. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Outlook 2003 SP2 handles updates much more gracefully.
