Default Can you enter an appointment without specifying a time?

Sometimes I have an appointment where I know the day it will be but we have
not set a time. I'd just like to have it appear on that day without blocking
out the whole day. Maybe with a question mark where the time would usually
go....

Is there any way to do this? I find it really annoying that every appt has
to have a time attached to it.

You must either enter a time or mark it as an all-day event. There's no other choice.
