recurrance format

one format of outlook I used over the years would have bars if the event went
over numerous days. For instance a week long vacation would have a block
from monday to friday titled vacation. Now in Outlook 2002 i have one block
every day that sys vacation.

Did you set the event to span several days or as a single day but recurring?
