I am using Outlook 2000.
When the calendar view is set to DAY or WORK WEEK the appointment times are duplicated in two columns next to each other. Is this correct & if not how do I get rid of one of the columns? Also, in any of the views - DAY, WORK WEEK or WEEK - the day of the week does not appear next to the date. If you do not have the month calendar preview open you don't know on which day you are working. At least the WEEK view starts Monday and ends Sunday but for the other 2 it is guess work. Any suggestions to the above? Leon |

I think you mean you have 2 grey columns to the left of the Calendar's
meeting space? If so, right click that spot, Change Timezone, then in the bottom half of the window, uncheck the second timezone that you are showing. DO NOT change your time zone! Thanks Judy that was the solution. Do you have an answer to the 2nd part of
my question which was:- in any of the Calendar views - DAY, WORK WEEK or WEEK - the day of the week ie. Mon - Sun does not appear next to the date. If you do not have the month calendar preview open you don't know on which day you are working. At least the WEEK view starts Monday and ends Sunday but for the other 2 it is guess work. Perhaps I can explain it in a better way.
When viewing the calendar as DAY or WORK WEEK at the top of the page is a bar with the word CALENDAR on the left and at right 06 June,2006. Below that is a grey bar showing 6 June in its centre. There is no reference to the day of the week ie. Tuesday That means if you do not have a view open on the right side of an entire month's calendar (which has the taskpad below it) you do not know which day of the week the date refers to. It's OK for today but if you are looking at a previous or forward date you have no idea which day of the week it refers to. Any siggestions? Leon "Judy Gleeson, MVP Outlook" wrote in message ... The "dddd" specification tells WIndows (and Outlook) to use the day of the week in the date format. -- Brian Tillman |
