Default Deleting Calendar

I am trying to find a way to delete my calendar from DEC. 31,2004
back. I believe that if I do an archive first then the delete, I will
still have my records if I need them.
The second thing I will need to do is to sync my calendar (2k3) with
my PDA (Treo650). If I set it up for the desktop to over ride the hand
held, I will then have all the calendar information from Jan 1, 2005
to the current date.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks.

Aloha skip,

If you use AutoArchive to archive the calendar items you won't need to delete.
Archive moves the items to the PST file.
