Default Resolving a resource as a resource

When you create a meeting and add a resource as an attendee, Outlook defaults
the attendee as a "Require attendee" with a moroon umbrella as the symbol.

Am I missing a method or a setting that would cause Outlook to resolve the
Resource as a "Resource (Room or Equipment)" with the Green House as a symbol?
It seems rather odd that outlook cannot tell that I am adding a conference
room and that it should be treated as a Resource.

Please tell me I am missing something!

Thank you,
Chris

Outlook 2007 + Exchange 2007 will be the first version to have that setting built in. Earlier versions don't know a conference room from a regular user. For now, you need to train users how to book resources. The tools listed at http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/scheduleall.htm#tools may help.
