Default Changing days in calendar

Microsoft Outlook / Calendar in month view displays weeks in rows and the
days of the week in columns. The weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, share a
single column (the right most column).

I want to change the weekends to Thursdays and Fridays instead of Saturdays
and Sundays. Is there a way to do this?

Is there a way to have only six days – excluding Fridays?

Is there a way to increase the number of columns to 7?

There aren't many settings you can change. They are all in Tools | Options
| Calendar Options.

Tell us at least your version next time you post here.

Thank you Judy for reponding to my post.

I am sorry for having been short on details. I am using MS Office Outlook
2003 (Professional Edition).

I sincerely hope you would be able to give me a solution with this info.

Thanks

As I said before - the only things you can change are in the one settings
spot. Have a look, try a few changes and see how close you can get to what
you want to see.

Thanks once again Judy for your response.

I have tried my best with no avail. I believe, as you mentioned, there is a
limitataion on what could be changed. I was keen on this as my weekends fall
on Thursdays and Fridays and such a change would give me a confortable view.

Regards

Try:
Tools, Options, Calendar Options, change your beginning day to Saturday and
unclick Thursday/Friday from work days. This will make Thurs/Fri appear on
the right-hand side. Don't try to compress as Outlook defaults this feature
to Sat/Sun.

The next thing you could do is Set an all day appt for both Thurs/Fri and
call it "my weekend" and use a flag color to make them appear a little
different.

This isn't perfect but at least a work around for the inflexibility built
into the program.

Good luck!
