Default Weekday not showing

Outlook 2003. In my calendar, on top of each day collumn it used to say
"Friday, 7 July 2006". As of a few days ago all it says is "7 July" - no more
weekday.

No matter what view (1 day, 5 day, weekly or customised), the weekday does
not show any more.

I have looked everywhere to find where that setting could have been changed.
Cannot find it.

Anybody - please?

After furious head scratching, George Hill asked:

Woo Hooo! Yes, the long date format was the culprit. Thanks Milly, you saved
me. I was about to uninstall / re-install Outlook.
