Default Outlook calendar should allow right-click copy & paste of items

For goodness sakes! Why oh why can't I simply right-click an item in Outlook
calendar and copy it? I can't conceive of any technical reason why this isn't
possible. And it's such a common type of task in a calendar app that it
boggles my mind as to why it isn't possible in Outlook, which is so
full-featured.

Currently, if you want to copy and paste an item (in "Month" view), you must
first select the item by clicking on it, and then go to the file menu at the
top and click Edit Copy. (Alternately, you can press Ctrl-C). Once this is
done, you can paste via right-click Paste. But for some reason you, when
you right-click in the first place, there is no option to copy. What's up
with that??

Microsoft: for the love of all things holy, please make life easier on your
users by adding "copy" to the right-click context menu in Outlook calendar,
for items that are selected.
