I have tried to archive calendar items from 2004, but nothing is deleted and
nothing shows up in the archive folder. I did a workaround by using category view and selecting the 2004 appointments that were not recurring. I then moved them to the archive folder. This worked fine, but I cannot get either auto archive or a manual archive (using file -- archive) to work. |

Autoarchive works on the date the item was last modified, not the date the item was placed in the calendar. To see the modified dat, change the calendar to a table view and add the Modified Date field with Field Chooser. That will probably explain why you're seeing what you are. -- Brian Tillman |
