Default Appointments not showing up in Cached Mode

I have a user who when he looks at his calander in Outlook 2003 certain
appointments are missing. If I restart Outlook in Non cached mode the
appointment are there. I then change back to Cached mode and they disappear
Here is a list of things I tried so far
1. Deleted the OST file so Outlook had to recreate it.
2. Reset the views using the /cleanviews switch
3. Switched between Cached and non cached mode and back again
4. Service Pack 2 and all the latest updates have been applied.
5. Ran a Detect and Repair

Thanks
