How to compress the calendar size which is around 43MB without losing any
historic data? Please if anyone knows to do this, provide a workaround solution. I am using Windows XP and Office 2003. Thanks and Regards, Vidya |

You can try compressing the entire .PST file (go into its properties and look
for the Compact command)...or you can archive some of the older data to another file which you can open at any time. See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...564651033.aspx for a list of articles about archiving and how it works. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Vidya" wrote: How to compress the calendar size which is around 43MB without losing any historic data? Thanks for the link and suggestions.
Guess this is the only option available as its the highest suggested workaround. In my opinion, archiving is something that every Outlook user should do on a
regular basis. Not only does it keep your main .PST file down to a reasonable size, but the historical data is so easy to access whenever you need to. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Vidya" wrote: Thanks for the link and suggestions.
