Default Not able to view the status of other peoples Calendars in 2003

When scheduling appointments using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003 there are
some people whose calendars seem to be free of any appointments but I know
they have appointments. What might be causing this and how can I get it fixed
so I can see their appointments?

Thanks for looking.

It may be that their free/busy options are not updating. Have them start Outlook with the /cleanfreebusy switch added to their shortcut they use to start Outlook.

Perhaps they have their free/busy publishing disabled.
