Default Email Created for a Past Account instead to selected address

I have an office that shared a number of calendars, contact, inboxes, etc.
among themselves. I have an odd problem that when a particular user is sent
a request to attend a meeting, a rouge email to a past email account is
attempted instead. Since the account doesn't exist anyone - the meeting
creator receives a delivery error report (to the removed email account). The
original person that was 'really' invited to the meeting doesn't get the
invitation at all. I can't see any rules, forwarding, etc. to explain why
this is happening. The has to be a link or relationship somewhere. Does
anyone know where this link to past is hiding -- I can't find it. We are
using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003.
Thanks

I had looked at the delegates from the Exchange side, and they were not. But
I didn't realize that the Delegates under the Outlook Delegates tab could be
different - they were there. Deleting them did fix the problem. I finally
figured it out yesterday - and the box notify my delegates of meeting request
was checked.
Thanks for your help.
